Feminist Art Gallery Hamilton (and studio!)
A working studio + micro-gallery by Monica Brinkman — where feminist art, emotional depth, and collector experiences meet. Collectors, this is your chance to experience the texture, scale, and emotional impact of the work up close.
Appointments are low-pressure, conversational, and customized to your interests. If a piece speaks to you, we can talk next steps — or you can just enjoy the visit. Bookings are open via email or DM, and I’ll confirm your spot personally.
A Space for Visual Art & Emotional Restoration
Monica’s art studio and gallery space is located at 270 Sherman Ave South, inside a dynamic building filled with over 20 working artists.
This page is your go-to hub for viewing feminist artwork in person, connecting with Hamilton’s art scene, and staying updated on gallery events. My studio is open by appointment — perfect for collectors or anyone curious to experience art in person.
View Fine Arts In Person, With Intention
This is where art meets meaning. My gallery space isn’t just for display — it’s a working studio where each piece is created with intention.
The building itself, known locally as The Cotton Factory, is a creative ecosystem, housing painters, sculptors, media artists, and visionaries from all walks of life. Visitors often describe the space as inspiring, raw, and full of energy. Here, you’ll find work rooted in feminist themes, mental health, memory, and human connection.

Feminist Art with Heart, History & Layers
My work explores themes like femininity, power, landscape, identity, and the body — through mixed media, painting, and symbolic motifs. Visitors have described it as “emotionally intelligent,” “textured,” and “disorienting in the best way.” I often use recurring images — animals, archetypes, and layered brushwork — to mirror personal transformation and social commentary.
If you’re looking for a typical gallery experience, this might not be it. But if you want to feel something — or have a conversation about what you see — you’re in the right place.

Art That Reflects & Restores
I’m Monica Brinkman — visual artist, studio owner, and constant work-in-progress. This space is an extension of my process: layered, evolving, and deeply informed by personal and collective stories. FeministArt.ca is where I share work that’s rooted in emotional honesty, quiet rebellion, and a touch of weird.
You can find me here painting most days, often with tea in hand and my dog Olive Branch snoozing nearby.
